Bangladesh Insurance Academy certifies 82 BRAC Bank officials
The Bangladesh Insurance Academy (BIA) officially certified 82 BRAC Bank officials after they completed the Bancassurance training.
The officials in the 7th batch went through intensive training under the tutelage of expert trainers at the academy.
The training programme equipped the officials with the skills to cater insurance services to the customers through the bank's vast branch network.

With this certification, the total number of Bancassurance-certified officials at BRAC Bank has reached 600, making the bank fully equipped with trained human resources to serve customers with a range of insurance products.
The certificate awarding ceremony was held at Academy Bhaban in Dhaka on January 15, 2025.
The ceremony was graced by Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Muhammad Ala Uddin Ahmad, CEO of MetLife Bangladesh, M Jalalul Azim, Managing Director of Pragati Life Insurance, and Syed Abdul Momen, Deputy Managing Director and Head of SME Banking at BRAC Bank.
Md. Sayed Kutub, Additional Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, presided over the event. S.M. Ibrahim Hossain, ACII, Chief Faculty Member of BIA, coordinated the course.
