Land corruption: Imran Khan sentenced to 14 years, Bushra Bibi to 7 years in prison

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in a land corruption case. The verdict was announced on January 17 at the Rawalpindi jail where Imran Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023. Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi was also convicted in the case and sentenced to 7 years in prison. She was earlier on bail, but was sent to prison after the verdict was announced.
