Dhaka capitals team visits Walton headquater
A team of cricketers from Dhaka Capitals, a professional franchise cricket team that plays in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), has recently visited Walton headquarters in Gazipur.
The team comprises captain Thisara Perera, batter Litton Das, Sabbir Rahman, Tanzid Hasan, bowler Mustafizur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer Atik Fahad and manager Saif.
On Friday morning (Jan 31, 2025), the team helicopter reached the electronics giant's Chandra headquarters.
Cricketers were warmly welcomed by Walton's Deputy Chief Marketing Officer (DCMO) Zoheb Ahmed, Razu Ahmed, the Chief Business Officer of Walton Cables, Additional Executive Director Rabiul Islam Milton, and Mostafizur Rahman, Walton Fridge's brand manager.

The Dhaka team visited the display centre and the production procedures of various Walton brand products. They seemed impressed by Walton's state-of-the-art technology manufacturing plants.
Later in the day, during his day-long tour, they played cricket with officials and workers of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.
