Bangladesh to showcase products in Brazil 15-18 June
The first-ever Bangladeshi product fair will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil from June 15 to 18.
The exhibition, titled "Made in Bangladesh Exhibition 2025," aims to promote exportable products, diversify markets, strengthen bilateral trade, and facilitate networking in Latin America, particularly in Brazil.
The Brazil-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BBCCI) will organise the event.
BBCCI Director Imran Chowdhury shared the information at a press conference at the Chattogram Press Club today (1 February).
Leonardo de Oliveira Januzi, deputy head of mission at the Brazilian Embassy in Dhaka, was present at the press conference, while BBCCI Secretary General Md Zainal Abedin, Chattogram Press Club interim committee members Jahidul Karim Kochi, Mustafa Naeem, Md Shahidul Islam, Mia Mohammad Arif, Rafiqul Islam Selim, and Mazumdar Nazim Uddin, among others, were present.
Jahidul Karim Kochi, member secretary of the Chattogram Press Club, said that the initiative taken by the BBCCI to promote and expand Bangladeshi products in Brazil and South America is truly commendable.
He urged business representatives to showcase non-traditional Bangladeshi products in the global market.

He further said that the "Made in Bangladesh Exhibition 2025" is a significant step toward strengthening relations between Brazil and Bangladesh. This initiative will serve as a vital platform for businesses to showcase their excellence and build meaningful partnerships.
He expressed confidence that the event would enhance mutual understanding and pave the way for greater economic cooperation in the future.
