The benchmark index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange surged 34 points to reach 5,160 in the first 30 minutes today (3 February).

Investors showed the most interest in Central Pharma stocks as it topped the turnover chart, followed by Khulna Printing and Monno Fabrics.
