Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' wins record of the year at Grammys
Kendrick Lamar's viral diss track Not Like Us has won Record of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards, marking a historic moment in hip-hop.
Taking the stage to accept the award, Lamar dedicated the win to Los Angeles, shouting out neighborhoods across the city, reports media.
The track becomes only the second hip-hop song to claim the prestigious honor, following Childish Gambino's This Is America in 2019.
Lamar beat out a competitive field that included The Beatles (Now and Then), Beyoncé (Texas Hold 'Em), Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather), Chappell Roan (Good Luck, Babe!), Charli XCX (360), Sabrina Carpenter (Espresso), and Taylor Swift & Post Malone (Fortnight).
Prior to winning Record of the Year, Not Like Us had already dominated the night, securing Best Song and Best Rap Performance awards.
