Jahaji to make shipping simple
Jahaji also has introduced a virtual marketplace for trading bulk goods like sand, coal and stone
Renting cargo ships sitting at home will no longer be a dream.
A new app named Jahaji, first of its kind in the shipping industry, is going to be launched on Sunday with the booking and tracking services for inland water transports.
Jahaji is aimed at making it easy for inland water transport stakeholders like ship owners, suppliers, buyers, agents, carriers, transport, broker, and buyers to book and track a lighter ship including bulkhead, cargo, and coaster across Bangladesh.
One will able to rent a ship after confirming the ship rent, location and capacity through their app. Not only that, soon after subscribing for tracking service, ships owner, carrier and supplier will able to know up-to-date of their trips.
Jahaji also has introduced a virtual marketplace for trading bulk goods like sand, coal and stone from running ships with embedded features of price, location, quantity, and quality comparison.
It is a platform for the seller for displaying their commodities. Moreover, for a buyer, it is a place for buying the goods after checking the features.
The app is now available at the google play store. You can download from here.
