Asia Cup Archery: Bangladesh reach final of recurve men’s team event
Earlier, Bangladesh recurve men’s team beat Witthaya Thamwong, Tanapat Pathairat and Denchai Thepna of Thailand by 5-3 set points in the quarterfinal on Thursday at the same venue.
Bangladesh Archery team comprising of Mohammad Ruman Shana, Tamimul Islam and Hakim Ahmed Rubel advanced to the recurve men's team event final of the Asia Cup-World Ranking Archery Tournament (Stage-3) beating Khairul Anuar Mohamad, Muhammad Akmal Nor Hasrin and Muhamad Zarif Syahiir Zolkepeli of Malaysia by 5-3 set points in the semifinal in the Clark City of the Philippines on Thursday.
The Bangladesh team sponsored by Modhumoti Bank Ltd will play the final against Chinese team comprising of Xiangshuo Qi, Zhenqi Shi and La Ta on Friday at 8:30 am (BST).

Bangladeshi celebrated archer Mohammad Rumon Shana will play gold medal-deciding recurve men's singles final against Shi Zhengi of China at 12:25 pm (BST).
In the recurve mixed team event, Bangladesh team comprising of Ruman Shana and Beauty Rai conceded a 0-6 set points defeat against Xinyan Zhang and Xiangshuo Qi of China in the semifinal at the same venue on Thursday.
Shana and Beauty will play in the Bronze medal match against Yu-Chen Yeh and Zih-Siang Lin of Chinese Taipei on Friday at 10:45 am (BST).
In the day's recurve mixed team quarterfinal, Bangladeshi archers beat Waraporn Phutdee and Witthaya Thamwong of Thailand by 5-1 set points.
Earlier on Sunday, a six-member Bangladesh National Archery team reached Clark city of the Philippines to compete in the Asian meet.
