Keep Bangabandhu’s ideology in heart to attain his dream: Labour state minister
She was addressing a discussion and doa mahfil marking the National Mourning Day and the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday
State Minister for labour and employment Begum Monnujan Sufian has urged all to work to materialise the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, keeping his ideology, spirit and sense of patriotism in the heart.
"It is rare in the world that a nation has become independent in such a short time sacrificing much blood. It had been possible for the call of the Bangabandhu. We need to know the history," she has also said.
Monnujan was addressing a discussion and doa mahfil marking the National Mourning Day and the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday.
The Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) arranged the programme at its head office in the capital.
Labour Secretary KM Abdus Salam urged all to work from their respective positions to take the country forward with keeping Bangabandhu's ideology everybody's heart and "fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to us properly".
Inspector General (Additional Secretary) of DIFE Shivnath Roy presided over the programme. He presented a documentary on the life and work of the Bangabandhu.
Shivnath Roy said, "We have to realise and learn the ideology of Bangabandhu and have to work following his ideology. The three words – Bangabandhu, Bangladesh and independence – are interlinked."
He called upon the officers and employees of all levels of the department to work for the welfare of the workers inspired by the ideology of the Bangabandhu.
Director General of the Department of Labour AKM Mizanur Rahman (Additional Secretary), Additional Inspector General of the DIFE Md Ejaz Ahmed Jaber (Joint Secretary), President of the National Workers League Fazlul Haque Montu were, among others, also present at the event.
The Department of Inspection of Factories and Establishments also paid homage to the portrait of the father of the nation in Dhanmondi on Saturday morning.
