DSEX opens negative over selling pressure

The investors' selling pressure for short term profit booking has caused the drop of DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), in the early hours of the trading session on Tuesday.
DSEX fell by 5.13 points - or 0.10 percent - to reach at 4,874 in the first one-and-half-hour till 11:30am.
However, the Shariah-based DSES index gained 1.99 points to settle at 1,134 while the blue-chip index DS30 went down by 1.21 points to stand at 1,698.

Out of the 351 issues traded during the same time frame, 153 company's share prices advanced, 133 declined, and 65 remained unchanged.
In the corresponding period, the benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 14.68 points to close at 13,922.
