A free ambulance service will turn up at your doorstep if a phone call is made to the numbers provided by Kotwali Police Station in Chattogram.
A woman who beat the novel coronavirus recently has presented an ambulance to the police station to support the people of the area.
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mahbubur Rahman inaugurated the 'Hello Ambulance' service on Saturday.

Earlier, the Kotwali police station was lauded for launching the 'Hello OC' and 'My Pharmacy' services.
Mahbubur said they are trying to utilise the pandemic period to reduce the gap between people and police.

Kotwali Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Mohsin presided over the function while CMP Additional Commissioner (Administration and Finance) Amena Begum, Additional Commissioner (Crime and Operations) SM Mostaq Ahmed Khan, Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Shyamal Kumar Nath and senior CMP officials were present.
In addition to inaugurating the 'Hello Ambulance' programme, Kotwali Police Station inaugurated the gate of the station and gave a farewell to the outgoing commissioner. Anita Chowdhury and engineer Pranab Mitra were also felicitated for their cooperation in police activities.
