‘X-Ray’ anthology series based on Satyajit Ray’s short stories will be directed by Srijit and others
The series will showcase Manoj Bajpai and Radhika Madan in prominent roles.
A two-season series based on the legendary Satyajit Ray's short stories has been in the making for a while now. However, newer details have come to light about the series.
Peepingmoon reports that the series will be star-packed, with Manoj Bajpai joining Abhishek Chaubey's comical short film.
And as it's an anthology series, it'll have other directors attached to it. Srijit Mukherji would be directing two shorts as well. And director Vasan Bala would join the two.
Peepingmoon has revealed that on the acting front we'd see Gajraj Rao, Radhika Madan, and Harshvardhan Kapoor.
As India is seeing a massive spike in coronavirus cases, production has been halted several times leading to the delay. Now, reports suggest the story might be set in Goa considering the state has fewer restrictions.
The series has already hyped up almost an entire generation who've grown up reading Satyajit Ray and his outstanding short stories.
