3rd China International Import Expo Roadshow held

The third China International Import Expo (CIIE) Roadshow - mainly for professional visitors such as buyers in the Consumer Goods Pavilion, Food and Agricultural Products Pavilion - was successfully held in China.
It was jointly sponsored by the China International Import Expo Bureau, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Yiwu Municipal People's Government, And Bank of China Yiwu Branch and Organised by Yiwu Boyu Exhibition Service Co, Ltd (Amy fair).
It was held on September 17 in the Yiwu Crowne Plaza hotel hall room in Yiwu city of Zhejiang Province.

The roadshow introduced the basic situation of the third CIIE, progress of the preparation work, general situation and development trends of consumer goods, food and agricultural products related industries, and buyers' path to sign up.
It also introduced key exhibitors' information in the Consumer Goods Pavilion, Food and Agricultural Products Pavilion.
The relevant responsible person of CIIE Bureau, Yiwu Municipal People's Government, Yiwu Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Bank of China Yiwu Branch attended the event and delivered speeches.
The event strictly implemented the relevant requirements for epidemic prevention and control.
Representatives of relevant departments of Yiwu City and representatives of purchasing companies and industry organisations watched online, which expands the coverage of roadshows and further satisfies purchasers and other professional audiences.
The number of online live broadcast viewers reached 159,700.
A total of 105 foreign businessmen attended the meeting. Foreign buyers from 40 countries and regions including Bangladesh, the United States, Germany, France, Sweden, Mexico, Ukraine, Poland, South Korea, Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Iran, Yemen, Niger, Senegal, Pakistan, Iraq, Ethiopia, Guinea, Afghanistan, Libya, Bolivia, Lebanon, India, Greece, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Nepal, Tunisia, Tanzania, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Jordan, Turkmenistan, Somalia, Algeria, and Armenia attended the Roadshow.
A total number of 10 leaders from China International Import Expo Bureau, Yiwu Municipal People's Government, Yiwu Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Bank of China Yiwu Branch also attended the Roadshow.
More than 100 purchasing companies, including Yiwu Yimao Yunshang Supply Chain Management Co, Ltd, Yiwu Jinlong Yijingtong Supply Chain Service Co, Ltd, and Yiwu Yilei Trading Co, Ltd attended the event.
Last year, the 2nd CIIE was held in Shanghai. A six-member delegation led by MP Salman F Rahman, Advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Private Industry and Investment, attended the fair.
A 17 member delegation led by Md Shamsuddin Ahmed Director (Textiles), Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), took part in the Bangladesh Pavilion.
