Ashraf Shishir to make a movie on Bangabandhu
The film titled “570” will depict the happenings of the first 24 hours after the killing of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
National award-winning director Ashraf Shishir is set to make a movie on the tragic death of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the brutal assassination that took place on August 15, 1975.
The film titled "570" will depict the happenings of the first 24 hours after the killing of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Directed by Ashraf Shishir, the film will be produced under the banner of Cinebuzz Films.
Cinebuzz Films announced the production of the movie along with its cast and crew in a small gathering at a restaurant on October 2.
The shooting of the movie will start from today in Hotapara. The production house hopes to complete the shooting and post-production work soon so that they can release the movie by next year, March.
Actor Bappy Chowdhury will be seen playing an important character in the movie. This is the actor's first time venturing into a script-based movie and not a commercial one.
The other cast members includes veteran actor Masum Aziz, Shadhin Khosru, Sumona Shoma, Kazi Raju, Elina Shammi, Shansi Farukh, Dukhu Sumon in prominent roles.
