3 arrested over gang-raping a woman in Rajshahi

Police arrested three people in connection with a gang rape at a mango orchard at Dhamila Laddu in Rajshai's Deopara union on Saturday.
The arrestees are- Shukur (40), Rony (30) and Babu (45).
According to police sources, the victim woman, who is a vegetable vendor, was gang raped when she went to collect her dues from the rapists.

Following the victim's complaint, Damkura police arrested Shukur. Later, Godagari police arrested other accused - Rony and Babu.
The victim filed a rape case against them with Godagari police station later that night.
"Police arrested all three rapists in this connection. The victim was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for medical test," said Godagari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khairul Islam.
