Hi-Tech park authority inks MoU with CCIE to ease doing business
This will allow the investors to get Chief Controller of Imports and Exports’ services through the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority’s One Stop Service portal
The Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the office of Chief Controller of Imports and Exports (CCIE) to add new services to their One Stop Service (OSS) portal.
The agreement was signed at BHTPA's office on Sunday, read a press release.
Under the MoU, the authorities concerned will start the work to integrate the BHTPA's OSS portal with the CCIE's Online Licensing Module (OLM) to provide services swiftly to investors.
This will allow the investors to get CCIE's services through the OSS portal.
BHTPA Managing Director (Secretary) Hosne Ara Begum and Chief Controller of Import and Export Pranesh Ranjan Sutradhar signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
At the ceremony, the BHTPA managing director urged all the service providing agencies to assist in this effort, so that all the services can be integrated into the OSS portal quickly.
She expressed her hope that this will accelerate the development of Bangladesh in the "Ease of Doing Business" index.
The BHTPA is currently providing 148 services through the OSS portal, 20 of which can be accessed online at this address: https://ossbhtpa.gov.bd/.
The BHTPA launched the OSS portal in 2018 to provide services to investors at a low cost and in a short amount of time.
