Veteran actor Sujata admitted to hospital in critical condition

Veteran actress Salma Begum Sujata has been admitted to hospital after she suffered from a severe heart attack.
The actress has been admitted to the CCU section in Mirpur's National Heart Foundation Hospital, reports Jagonews 24.

'Agun Niye Khela', 'Madhumala', 'Dak Babu', 'Boro Bou', 'Eto Tuku Asha', 'Abujh Mon', 'Beyman', 'Aponjon', 'Momer Alo', 'Kanchan Mala', 'Behula Shundari' and many more hit films helped cement her reputation.
Apart from acting, she also veered into film directing in 1986. Her lone directorial venture was 'Arpan'. Besides, she has produced films from her three production houses namely 'SA Films', 'Sujata Productions' and 'Dipali Kathachitra'.
Right after the liberation war in 1971, she started producing films. 'Debor Bhabi' was the last film that she had produced.
For her contribution to the entertainment industry Sujata was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award of 42nd edition of National Film Award.
