Stocks rebound amid surging turnover

Equity indices of the stock exchanges witnessed an upward trend in the first one-and-half-hour trading session on Wednesday.
However, turnover of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) trading floor rose 22 percent to Tk296.26 crore during the period till 11:30 am.
In this session, DSEX, the key index of DSE rose by 15.77 points or 0.32 percent to 4,919.

The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 53 points to 14,144.
Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index gained 3.13 points to 1,123 and the blue-chip index DS30 rose 1.10 points to 1,696.
Following the investors movement 157 companies share price rose, while 65 issues fell and 102 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
