2 workers die inhaling toxic gas in Sitakunda
They were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared two of them dead.
Two workers died after inhaling toxic fumes on Saturday at a shipbreaking yard in Chattogram's Sitakunda.
The deceased are Saiful, 26 and Md Masum, 22. They worked at a shipbreaking yard called WW Trading and Ship Breaking.
"Few workers fell sick due to gas in the evening. They were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared two of them dead," Sitakunda Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shamim Sheikh told The Business Standard.
