Hanif Sanket directs special Victory Day programme ‘Muktir Kotha Bijoyer Gaan’

Popular production house Fagun AudioVision has organised a special Victory Day programme titled ''Muktir Kotha Bijoyer Gaan."
Celebrated television host Hanif Sanket has directed the programme while Tareen Jahan has acted as the anchor for the event, said a press release.
The programme features an investigation report on "Golahat massacre", which took place on 13 June in 1971 at Saidpur in Nilphamari by the Pakistani forces. About 450 people including men and women, children and the elderly were brutally killed with machetes and bayonets in the train massacre.
The programme will also feature a report on Bikul Chakraborty, a documentary and memoir collector of the liberation war from Moulvibazar and an exemplary report on barber Gopal Chandra Shil of Jhalakathi, who has been giving free hair cut to the freedom fighters for the last 25 years.
Three patriotic songs about the heroic freedom fighters and proud victory in the great liberation war will be presented in the programme. The country's top music stars have participated in the songs created in a massive arrangement.
Artist Robi Chowdhury has given a melody and voice to a song with lyrics by lyricist Moniruzzaman Palash. Artist Bappa Majumder and his band Dalchhut performed the inspirational song of the freedom fighters with lyrics and tune by Apel Mahmud. Another song is sung by artist SI Tutul. The song is written by Liton Ghosh Joy and composed by the artist himself.
Shooting for videos of the songs took place at different beautiful locations in Dhaka and other parts of the country.
"Muktir Kotha Bijoyer Gaan" will air on ATN Bangla at 08:00pm on 16 December.
