Spate Initiative working to ensure digital education system

Spate Initiative, a startup IT company, has been working to turn the country's education system to a fully digital one, through its education based software School360.
Sajjadur Rahman, chief executive officer (CEO) of Spate Initiative, made the statement while addressing a programme in Dhaka on Tuesday.
The programme was organized to mark the fifth founding anniversary of School360.
Sajjadur Rahman said the digital education-oriented software played an important role in the advancement of the digital education system amid covid-19 pandemic.
"School360 is an entrepreneurial platform. From here, entrepreneurs are able to work with digital education all over Bangladesh by setting up IT centers in their own areas," explained the CEO.
"As the first company, we have been able to send the data of biometric attendance machines from government primary schools to the central server. At present, the software is being used in more than 1,200 schools in 323 upazilas of 30 districts across the country," he mentioned.
Speaking on the occasion, Daffodil University Chairman Sabur Khan said there is no alternative to soft skills to take part in the fourth industrial revolution, what will materialised by the IT entrepreneurs.
School360 has created more than two hundred entrepreneurs across the country and will create more in future, he expressed optimism.
