Complaint against 5 EC officials including CEC over money laundering
Ten Supreme Court lawyers have lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) against five EC officials, including the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), for inquiries and investigations into money laundering through fake bills.
The Supreme Court lawyers, including lawyer Mohammad Shishir Monir, lodged the complaint with the ACC chairman on Thursday morning, reports Jago News.
According to the complaint, there was waste of government money amount of Tk 7.47crore on the name of training without Finance Ministry's approval and without any police EC.
