Dostana 2 to star Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor as siblings
The actor who will play the love interest for both Kartik and Janhvi will be a newcomer
Rumour mill was running wild when Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan announced that they are going to be a part of Karan Johar’s movie “Dostana 2.”
Everyone was expecting them to be paired romantically in the film, but they were surprised when the duo posted an instagram post declaring that they are going to play siblings.
Both Janhvi and Kartik will have the same love interest in Dostana 2 and they will be vying for love for the third "suitable boy."

The actor who will play the love interest for both Kartik and Janhvi will be a newcomer, who is being launched by the Dharma production.
In his instagram post, Kartik made a Dostana reference by quoting a dialogue from the first instalment of the film writing: "Maa da laadla bigadne wala hai."
He then added: "Can't wait to take this franchise forward with my partners in crime Janhvi Kapoor Collin DCunha and the "suitable boy."
Dostana which was released in 2008 starred Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles.
Dostana 2 will mark Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan's collaboration for the first time onscreen.
