Indices edge up despite investors selling pressure
Turnover of the DSE rose by 4% to Tk654.76 crore during the session
Indices of the both stock exchanges edged up despite investors selling pressure in the first one-and-half hour trading session on Monday.
In this session, DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 43.52 points or 0.77% to 5,677.
Turnover of the DSE rose by 4% to Tk654.76 crore during the session.
Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index gainned 14.79 points to 1,288 and the blue-chip index DS30 rose by 35.89 points to 2,103.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose by 200 points to 16,588 till 11:30 am.
During this session, 124 companies share price rose, while 158 issues fell and 67 issues price remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
