Anything over 400 will be enough: Cornwall

Rakheem Cornwall is having a series to remember in Bangladesh. He bowled well in the practice match, was hyped as the biggest weapon of Windies arsenal and actually living up to it. He bagged his second five-for in Test on Saturday at Mirpur. Windies are currently leading by 154 runs with 7 wickets in hand after the third day's play. 

Cornwall believe they are pretty much in the driver's seat and they will be able to post a target of around 400 to the hosts which will be more than enough to seal the match, and series, of course.

But he also reminded that the fourth day will be important and there can still be more twists in the match. 

"I think we are slightly in the driver's seat. Tomorrow is an important day for us. We just have to bat well in the first hour. We have to be in a reasonable position at lunch so that we can set a reasonable target for Bangladesh. We can have a run at Bangladesh at the end (of the day). Anything over 400 will be comfortable for us," said a confident Cornwall. 

While talking about his plans while bowling and picking up second five-for in Test career, Cornwall mentioned that he planned simple and tried to bowl according to the pitch. "Plan was to keep things simple, be patient and put the balls in the right area. The wicket gave me some bounce, some of the balls spun. I just had to work with that."

Cornwall believes Bangladesh have some quality batters in their line up and they can fire anytime in the Test. So, the Windies team have to be careful and wait for Bangladesh batsmen to make mistakes when they come on to bowl. 

"I think they are good quality players. You still have to put the ball in the right areas and stick to your gameplan, and see if the Bangladesh batsmen make mistakes," Cornwall added.

Bangladesh will walk on to the field tomorrow wanting to keep the target below 300.
