International media outlets and sports personalities around the world praised Mushfiqur Rahim and Bangladesh cricket team after registering a massive victory against India in Sunday's Twenty20 series opener.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly tweeted congratulating Bangladesh and thanked both India and Bangladesh cricket teams for playing despite high levels of pollution in the national capital.
Quoting Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir, The Times of India posted, "Bangladesh is already on the back foot without Sakib-al-Hasan but lauded the visitors for not making the pollution in Delhi a major talking point."

Rahim took full advantage of the dropped catch as he smashed Khaleel Ahmed for 18 runs in the penultimate over to give Bangladesh a historic victory, reports Hindustan Times.
Rohit Sharma admitted during post-match presentation ceremony, "It was a defendable score, and we made mistakes on the field. The guys are a bit inexperienced, and they can learn from that."
"Mushfiqur Rahim averages significantly higher against India than the others. He rode his luck today to produce another masterly finish," Harsha Bhogle tweeted.
