Arif Khan new vice chairman of Shanta Asset Management
Arif khan has partnered with Shanta Group's capital market businesses and has become the new vice chairman of Shanta Asset Management Limited.
Shanta Asset Management Limited is one of the fastest growing asset management company in the country, said a media statement on Thursday.
Arif khan will actively engage with Shanta group's capital market businesses with the vision of extending its business operation in other capital market and financial institution related ventures.
The group has a plan to have a strong presence in asset management, stock brokerage and merchant banking sector in the country.
"Our capital market has huge potential to be part of our national development initiatives and also to provide alternative investment vehicles for our growing middle class. Believing on this vision, I am partnering with Shanta Capital Market Businesses to offer high quality capital market related services backed by expertise and integrity," said Arif khan.
Prior to joining the Shanta Group, Arif khan was the managing director and chief executive of IDLC Finance, a leading NBFI of the country.

Before joining the IDLC, he served the BSEC as a commissioner.
He obtained his graduation in Finance and Banking from the Dhaka University and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of the same university.
