Around 16 crore hits for movement pass
A total of 159,922,065 people hit the app so far
On the second day after launching of the police's "movement pass" app, around 16 crore people accessed it as of 11am today.
Movement pass is needed to go out in case of any emergency during the seven-day strict lockdown started on 14 April.
A total of 159,922,065 people hit the app so far. At least 14,026people hit the app per minute for movement pass amid lockdown, according to data from Police Headquarters.

However, the app issued some 316,801 movement passes till this morning. Some 316,754 passes so far accepted.
Besides, 400,977people have become able to register for the pass during this period.
People can obtain the pass through an app by visiting: movementpass.police.gov.bd.
Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed inaugurated the app today noon, a day before the week-long strict lockdown.
