Hefazat won’t be spared: Liberation war minister
“They have hurt the spirit of the liberation war by taking a stand against the state. Therefore, fair trials would ensue”
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque said today that Hefazat-e-Islam will not be exempted for carrying out violence on 26-28 March, emulating what Pakistan did in 1971.

"Hefazat does not sing our national anthem, nor does they fly the national flag," Mozammel said adding "They do not believe in the spirit of the liberation war, that we had fought and won through a lot of sacrifices."
The minister further said, "They have hurt the spirit of the liberation war by taking a stand against the state. Therefore, fair trials would ensue."
