Shakib, Riyad, Liton get teams in PSL replacement draft
The draft included 132 cricketers. Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Sabbir Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and Liton Das were the Bangladeshi players on the list.
A replacement draft took place on April 27 as the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which was postponed midway due to the Covid-19 outbreak inside the bio-bubble, is set to resume.
The draft included 132 cricketers. Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Sabbir Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and Liton Das were the Bangladeshi players on the list.
Shakib Al Hasan has been picked from the platinum category by Lahore Qalandars. Mahmudullah, another all-rounder, has been picked by Multan Sultans.
Liton Das has been roped in from the silver category by Karachi Kings. Liton is set to play in the PSL for the first time. Popular cricket website ESPNCricinfo confirmed this news through a tweet.
There is no news as of yet about the other three players.
The remaining matches of the PSL will be held from June 1 to 20 in Karachi.
