ASK demands probe into death of Khagrachhari jail prisoner
On Friday, a prisoner of Khagrachhari District Jail named Milon Bikash was declared dead
Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) demanded a probe into the death of a prisoner at Khagrachhari District Jail on Friday.
The police said the prisoner named Milon Bikash Tripura had bruises on his head and neck, read a press release issued by the ASK.
According to various media reports, Milon fell seriously ill on Friday morning and was sent to Khagrachhari Sadar Hospital where he was declared dead.

Milon's family later alleged that he had died due to torture.
The ASK stated that such a death in safe custody in prison is unacceptable and demanded investigation into the incident.
