Murali-Fizur! Mustafiz gets new nickname from Rajasthan Royals
It was revealed in a recent video on Rajasthan Royal's official Facebook page that his new nickname is 'Murali-Fizur.'
Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has made a name for himself in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He set the stage on fire in his first season itself and became the first overseas player to win the emerging player's trophy.
The left-arm seamer played for Rajasthan Royals in this year's IPL and was in sublime form before the tournament got postponed. He made the best use of his variations in the tournament and he extracted so much spin off the pitch that noted commentator Alan Wilkins called him 'left-handed Muralitharan.'
It went viral on social media. Mustafizur said that all these praises make him happy though he isn't entirely aware of what's happening on social media.

Mustafizur spoke about his experience in the IPL this year. He said, "I never felt that I was playing in a new team. Everyone was very helpful."
Mustafizur, as the leader of the RR attack, interacted with the young pacers a lot and shared his knowledge with them. He had a great relationship with the skipper Sanju Samson. "He is a good person. He is very cool under pressure and never gets angry. It is very good for the team. He advises me on how to be better and he is very helpful," Mustafizur said.
