Shakib gone for a duck, again!

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been in a poor run of form in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL) T20. He continues to remain a pale shadow of his old self.
The premier all-rounder was dismissed for a duck once again in the DPL match against Legends of Rupganj in Mirpur today.
He came on to bat at no:4 when his team was struggling at 6 for 2, played 6 balls, and went back to the pavilion without scoring a run.
This was his second duck in six matches in the ongoing DPL.
Shakib has so far scored 73 runs from the 6 matches in DPL at an average of 12.17. Three of these innings were under 5, two of them being ducks.
His highest score of 29 in the ongoing DPL came against Shinepukur in the very first match of the campaign.
Shakib has been in a poor run of form with the bat ever since his return from the ban. He has managed to score only 218 runs in the 17 T20 innings he batted since his return at an average of a mere 12.82.
Most of those innings have been under 15, very unlike Shakib.
It is known that Shakib will need only a good innings to return to his best form, but when will that one good innings come remains a mystery now.
While writing this report, his team Mohammedan is struggling at 52 for 6 after 14 overs. They have won three of their five matches in the tournament so far and sit on 6th position in the table.
