Govt halts posting of 1,251 doctors to upazila hospitals
Earlier on Sunday and Monday, the health division issued two notices directing the physicians to join the corona units of different upazila hospitals
The Health Services Division has ordered to postpone the appointment of 1,251 physicians to different upazila health complexes till July 4 citing complications related to the information.
In a notification issued today, the health division said due to lack of information, the posting orders may have included those, who are engaged in RT-PCR and other lab activities, work in Covid dedicated hospitals and the sole physician of a department engaged in teaching.
In addition to these, there may be errors in the posting orders because of incorrect information regarding some of the doctors' current working station.
