AKM Shahidul Karim made Bangladesh ambassador to Bhutan
The government has decided to appoint AKM Shahidul Karim, currently serving as Chief of Protocol in the foreign ministry Affairs, as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bhutan, a press release said here today.
Ambassador designate Karim is a career foreign service officer, belonging to the 18thbatch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Foreign Affairs cadre.
During his diplomatic career, Karim served in various capacities at Bangladesh Missions in Stockholm, Cairo and London. He also served as Consul General in Jeddah.
Karim graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET).
