The windy Friday evening caused the temperature to drop to 13 degrees at the Gazarmara village of Bhangura on December 27. However, the hostile weather failed to work as a deterrent for the village people who were there for the premiere had also witnessed the shooting over the last two years.
At sundown all the villagers gathered at Aambagan, or the mango orchard, where the camera had first rolled for the movie "Kathbirali". Though the orchard does not exist anymore as it was chopped-off recently, it can still be seen on celluloid.
The shooting of Niyamul Mukta's first movie – "Kathbirali" took place in her own home village Gazarmara. The shooting began in 2017. It seemed like Mukta had turned her entire village into a shooting set and the villagers turned into unit members during the shooting.

This is why the director first brought the movie to the villagers by premiering it at the mango orchard. Braving the intense cold, the "Kathbirali" team attended the premier with the villagers. Actors Orchita Sporshia, Abir, Sajib Mahmud, and Hindol Roy were present at the premiere.
At the outset, the actors conversed with the villagers and took photographs with them. "I cannot express how delighted we are to have been able to premiere the film at its shooting spot. Everyone in this village has supported us and I cannot thank them enough," said Sporshia.
Niyamul Mukta thanked everyone for their effort and said, "I am grateful to everyone and I am proud to have been born in this village. There is nothing more than the love of the people of my village."
Mayor of Bhangura municipality and local political figures were also present at the premiere.
Everyone wished success to Niyamul Mukta's initiative and her future endeavours.
