Delhi Assembly polls: Voting underway amid tight security

The voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly began this morning amid tight security after high-octane campaigns by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress.
The polling in the Indian capital began at 8am and will end at 6pm, Hindustan Times reported.
A total of 672 candidates are in the fray for the keenly watched battle of the national capital. Of them, 79 (12%), are women, up from 66 in the previous assembly elections.

Scuffle breaks out between AAP and Congress
A scuffle broke out between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress workers outside a polling booth in Majnu ka Teela in north Delhi after Alka Lamba, a Congress candidate, tried to slap an AAP worker.
The move came after the AAP worker tried to interrupt her during a media interaction.
Lamba, candidate from Chandni Chowk constituency, is up against Prahlad Singh Sahni of AAP and BJP's Suman Gupta.
