Bangladesh University signs MoU with ICT Division to enhance standards
Bangladesh University and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for enhancing standards of education.
Bangladesh University's Registrar Brigadier General Md Mahbubul Haque (Retd) and the ministry's Additional Secretary Syed Mojibul Huq signed on the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, said a press release.
The State Minister for the ministry Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the university's Board of Trustees Chairman Kazi Jamil Azher, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority's Director for Administration and Finance ANM Safiqul Islam were also present at the event.

Also present from Bangladesh University were Director Engineer Quazi Taif Sadat and Tina Jabeen, program advisor, Startup Accelerator programme,
As per the agreement, a data analysis lab will be set up on Bangladesh University premises with government's support. The government would also help provide donations to ten innovative students of the university upscale their startup projects.
Information of information and technology would also be shared between the university and the ministry, the press release added.
