RAB nabs one for growing, selling Kush, other high-end drugs from Gulshan
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested one individual for growing and selling Kush (pure or hybrid cannabis indica strain) among other drugs from the capital.
Onaisi Saeed alias Reyar Saeed was arrested from the capital's Gulshan area early Tuesday morning, Commander Khandaker Al Moin, RAB's legal and media wing director, told the media.
Claiming the incident to be a first for the country, the RAB official, addressing the press, said, "We conducted a drive in Gulshan following a tip-off. This is the first time in the country's history that law enforcers have seized Kush.

"Onaisi Saeed alias Reyar Saeed is the mastermind behind the sale and supply of unconventional and new drugs. Hemp, Ecstasy, Molly, Adderall, and Fentanyl are among the drugs found in his possession."
According to law enforcers, Saeed completed his honours and masters from abroad.
He came back to Bangladesh in 2014. During the early days, a Southeast Asian person used to provide supplies of unconventional drugs to Saeed.
Later, the supplier moved to a North American country and started supplying the drugs from there. This opened the doors for Saeed to get involved in the international drug trade.
"He has been involved in selling ecstasies and other expensive drugs for about four years.
"He is the mastermind of the said syndicate. Several others from Bangladesh work for him too," the RAB commander added.
He said, "Saeed has studied and researched the production of drugs.
"He even started cultivating Kush in a Mohammadpur flat to ensure supplies to both local and international customers."
