A dog has been quarantined in Hong Kong after it tested positive for coronavirus.
"The dog belongs to a coronavirus patient," according to officials, reported Al Jazeera.
There is no evidence found that the virus can be transmitted to dogs, officials said.

All pets in Hong Kong infected with the coronavirus will be quarantined and one dog has already in isolation, the city's authorities confirmed.
This is the first reported case in the world where a government is quarantining pets over the outbreak and was prompted by a positive test in the pet of an infected patient.
On the other hand, thousands of pets have been abandoned in cities under quarantine in China as owners are unable to return.
The coronavirus, which has killed nearly 3,000 people and infected more than 86,000 in dozens of countries, is believed to have first emerged late last year in a Wuhan market that sold wild animals.
The National Health Commission also reported 573 new infections, bringing the total number of cases in mainland China to 79,824 and taking the toll to 2,870 till Sunday.
