Samsung Bangladesh starts taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip

Samsung Bangladesh has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone, the first foldable smartphone in the world.

The Galaxy Z Flip has been engineered with a first-of-its-kind foldable glass featuring a 6.7-inch display that folds into a stylish and compact form, fitting in the palm of hand.

This model in Samsung's Galaxy series features an Infinity Flex Display with Samsung's proprietary bendable Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), making it slimmer while also retaining a sleek aesthetic never been seen with a foldable device before.

The centered in-display camera cutout at the top eliminates the need for a notch allowing people to enjoy more of their contents without any distraction.

Z Flip's Hideway Hinge is a backed by a dual CAM mechanism, sophisticatedly designed to ensure every flip and fold is smooth and stable. The device can stay at a range of angles, like a laptop screen.

Users can create content for their social media feeds from the best angle and enjoy video recording with a 16:9 ratio that is perfect for uploads to social media platforms, hands-free and without the need of a tripod.

Even when closed, the phone can be used to capture one-handed high-quality selfies using the rear camera without unfolding. The Z Flip has dual rear cameras – a 12MP ultrawide and 12MP wide-angle, which are paired with an LED flash. It also comes with a 10MP selfie camera.

The phone boasts Samsung's Galaxy series level performance and features across camera, display, battery, security and other services. Users can enjoy a versatile camera experience with 4K video capture, Live Focus, and Super Steady recoding. The phone features an optimized dual battery of 3,300mAH that holds more power without taking up more space.

The pre-order price for the Galaxy Flip Z is Tk149,999, the regular price for the phone is Tk189,999.

Upon purchasing, customers can also pay Tk10,500 for a one-time screen replacement. The regular price of screen replacement is TK80,500.

Customers will have to avail the screen replacement offer within one year of the purchase.

Standard Chartered and Eastern Bank Limited is offering 24 months EMI for the phone without interest.
