Ctg MP Mostafizur Rahman, family members test Covid-19 positive
He is the first MP of Chattogram to have tested positive for Covid-19
A member of parliament from Banshkhali constituency in Chattogram Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury along with six members of his family has tested positive for coronavirus.
Personal secretary of the MP Mostafizur Rahman Rasel confirmed the matter while talking to The Business Standard.
He said the lawmaker and his family members contracted the virus a few days ago. They are in home quarantine at Nasirabad of the city.

He is the first MP of Chattogram to have tested positive for Covid-19.
Earlier, lawmaker for Raozan constituency Fazle Karim was put under home-isolation as he came in contact with a coronavirus-infected patient. But the MP tested negative for the virus.
According to the civil surgeon office, so far 3,669 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 in Chattogram and 88 died.
