GP appoints Kazi Mahboob Hassan as chief business officer

Grameenphone has appointed Kazi Mahboob Hassan as the chief business officer. effective from July 2, 2020.

Kazi started his career in GP as the chief specialist-strategy on February 1, 2016, and took the challenge of Head of Transformation as part of GPMT. Later, he served as chief strategy & transformation officer from April 1, 2018, to December 31, 2019.
Since January 1, he has been serving as the head of strategic & large accounts.
Kazi immensely contributed to developing GP's strategy that helped the company taking the right direction and engage the workforce towards the line of sight.
Before joining Grameenphone in 2016, Kazi was a senior management consultant at Deloitte UK, where he was responsible for leading business transformation programs for clients across various sectors, including Telecom, Oil & Gas, Consumer Business, and Financial Services.
Kazi has also held senior positions in Finance and Marketing with IBM UK and BAT Bangladesh. He has a BBA from the University of Dhaka (IBA) and an MBA degree from the University of Oxford.
He is also a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with professional accountancy body ACCA, UK.
