Banks would be in jeopardy: Mirza Azizul
Dr AB Mirza Azizul Islam, a former advisor to the government and economist, has said that as the government is taking Tk 85,000 crore from banks as loan, this might put the banks in jeopardy.
"First we have to see whether our banks are even able to give loan of such amount. And if they do, what will happen to other businesses? Central Bank should look into it," he said in his budget reaction.
