Syngenta Bangladesh Limited and Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) Sign MoU
Bringing together the expertise of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited and the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), this collaboration is poised to transform Bangladesh's agricultural sector.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 12 September 2024 at the DAE Headquarters in Dhaka marks the beginning of a journey towards innovative solutions and best practices in agriculture.
The agreement was penned by Hedayet Ullah, the Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, and Md Tajul Islam Patwary, the Director General of DAE, on behalf of their respective organizations.
The success of this collaboration relies on the active participation of all stakeholders, including the farming community, in achieving the outlined objectives. The MoU outlines several key objectives, including implementing cutting-edge agricultural technologies and practices to enhance crop productivity and quality. It also emphasizes the importance of providing training and resources to farmers to improve their skills and knowledge, enabling them to adopt modern farming techniques. Additionally, the collaboration aims to contribute to the national goal of food security by increasing agricultural output and developing forward linkage capacity of the farmers.
