14th syndicate meeting of BSMRAAU
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU) convened its 14th syndicate meeting in the university's conference room.
The meeting was chaired by the respected Vice Chancellor of the University, Air Vice Marshal A K M Manirul Bahar, BSP, ndc, hdmc, afwc, psc, ADWC.
The respected Vice-Chancellor began by expressing his sincere gratitude and remembering with great sadness the brave students of this nation who sacrificed their lives for the country. In addition to praying for the departed souls, he also prayed for the quick recovery of those receiving treatment. Subsequently, the Vice-Chancellor stated that the Syndicate meeting holds excellent significance, as it directs all its activities as the university's parliament. After that, he apprised the syndicate members of the noteworthy actions following the 12th Syndicate meeting.
At this meeting, the respected Vice Chancellor informed all attendees about the following: organised seminar on 'Above and Beyond with Boeing: Navigating the Aviation Industry, Exploring Career Prospects and Overcoming Challenges'; signing an agreement with NovoAir Limited; workshop on 'Challenges and Opportunities in Developing Smart Aviation for Bangladesh'; MOU with BCC for the establishment of Research & Innovation Centre; seminar on 'Nanotechnology in Aerospace'; the celebration of 5th Raising Day of the University; launching Cube Satellite for the first time; students visit to Air Force VSAT Hub Station, Aero Medical Institute (AMI) BAF and Flight Safety Institute (FSI) BAF; achieving ANO (AW) Part 147 AMTO certificate and accreditation from Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB). Workshop on Innovate for Impact: Academia Industry Collaborative Research & Innovation Projects for Building a Smart Bangladesh; seminar on Lab Development, and training on assembly, programming, simulations & operations of '3U CUBESAT' attached to Aerospace & Satellite Communication. Subsequently, all the meeting agendas were discussed in detail, and necessary decisions were made.
