Rafiqul Islam Panna appointed as acting Director of DU PR office
Md. Rafiqul Islam Panna, Deputy Director of the Public Relations Office at Dhaka University (DU), has been appointed as the Acting Director of the same office. The appointment was made by DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan.
Md. Rafiqul Islam Panna has a long association with the field of journalism. During his student years, he worked as a Dhaka University Reporter for the Daily Dinkal, later serving as a Staff Reporter for the same national daily. He began his career at the DU Public Relations Office in 2004, joining as a Section Officer.
Throughout his career, Panna has been actively involved with various professional organizations. He is a former member of the Dhaka University Journalist's Association (DUJA), Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ).
