4 former Krishak Dal leaders arrested during robbery

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) yesterday (14 October) arrested four former leaders of Jatiotabadi Krishak Dal during a robbery in Narayanganj's Siddhirganj.
RAB handed them over to the police this morning and a case was filed against them, Siddhirganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Al Mamun told The Business Standard.
The arrestees are Rubel, 34, Jewel Rana, 22, Sadiqul Islam Sujan and Sohel Rana, 41, all former leaders of Krishak Dal's Narayanganj Ward-5 unit.

Taiyam Hossain, convenor of Siddhirganj Thana Krishak Dal, said the arrestees held posts in the ward committee but the committee had been dissolved recently.
