A mild earthquake was felt in various parts of the country late at night today (18 October) at 12:43:25 am.
According to the Meteorological Department, the earthquake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale.

Nizam Uddin Ahmed, an official from the Meteorological Department, said, "The earthquake was felt in Shariatpur and several nearby districts."
