The Edge teases new music for U2
U2's guitarist, The Edge, has hinted that new music from the band could arrive "very soon".
Speaking on the 'Sodajerker on Songwriting' podcast, he hinted at an imminent single, saying, "There might be a new song happening very soon, which you'll hear about. Can't say any more than that. We're in a great place creatively."
The Edge shared insights into the band's refined songwriting process, focusing on fully developed ideas to streamline creativity. He also confirmed U2 is recording with drummer Larry Mullen Jr., following his recovery, and collaborating with Bono and Brian Eno on experimental music.
The last time U2 released music was a single from 2023 titled, 'Atomic City', as well as their 2004 song, 'Happiness' getting its digital release in 2024.
